PRODUCTS

Diamond Systems’s family of NVIDIA solutions delivers AI-at-the-edge high performance computing solutions based on NVIDIA Jetson TX2, TX2i and AGX Xavier™modules. The family includes four carrier boards as well as a finished system housed in an ultra-compact enclosure. These solutions target a range of industrial and military applications, with a focus on harsh environments such as vehicles and other outdoor applications.

Our extensive line of compact, rugged SBCs is based on CPUs targeting embedded applications, ranging from the economical AMD LX800 and Vortex86DX to the high performance Intel Core i7 latest generation U series Skylake/Kaby Lake. These products adhere to industry-standard form factors such as PC/104, COM Express, ETX, EPIC, and EBX. Our SBCs are designed with 2 key criteria in mind: ruggedness and I/O. On average a DSC SBC will provide more I/O and greater ability to withstand harsh environments than other SBCs of the same size, CPU class, and price category.

Analog I/O

Our extensive line of analog I/O modules currently includes PC/104, PCIe MiniCard and FeaturePak form-factor products, providing both A/D and D/A functions. Most of these products also include digital I/O and counter/timer features. A unique feature of Diamond analog I/O modules is our patented autocalibration technology, which can reduce analog measurement errors by up to 10 times relative to conventional designs.

Digital I/O

Diamond's Digital I/O module family includes a wide range of rugged, wide-temperature PC/104, PC/104-Plus, PCIe MiniCard, and FeaturePak modules featuring programmable bi-directional digital I/O, counter/timers, optoisolated inputs, and relay outputs.

Serial I/O (Small Form Factor Comm Modules)

Diamond's line of rugged, wide-temperature Communications Modules feature standard and optoisolated RS-232/422/485 serial interfaces, Ethernet, CAN bus, GPS, and digital I/O functions. We have modules available in the following form factors: PC/104, PC/104-Plus, EMX and PCIe MiniCard.

Ethernet I/O

Diamond offers a variety of rugged, small form factor, managed Layer 2+ Ethernet switches with features that support a breadth of applications. Diamond Ethernet switches support transportation, medical, aerospace and defense and other applications found in the harshest environments. All I/O connectors on the switches are latching, providing enhanced reliability over the RJ-45 connectors used in commercial Ethernet switches. A 50% thicker PCB provides better protection against vibration in vehicle environments. The -40ºC to +85ºC operating range makes DSC Ethernet switches suitable for use in outdoor and vehicle applications.

Diamond offers both industrial grade and military grade computer systems ready to meet a wide variety of applications. Our systems have been successfully deployed in traffic control, industrial control, shipboard, and other applications around the world. All systems can be customized, including connectors, I/O features, power, and more.

PC/104, EPIC & EBX Enclosures

Diamond's compact, rugged, cable-free enclosures simplify the development of reliable and rugged systems incorporating Diamond's Athena III, Helios and Rhodeus SBCs plus stackable I/O expansion modules into fixed or mobile applications. Supported SBC form-factors include PC/104, EPIC and EBX.

CAN I/O

JANUS-MM combines dual CAN interfaces with sockets for GPS communications to create a complete I/O subsystem for automotive and vehicle tracking applications. The dual CAN ports use the Philips SJA1000T CAN controller and 82C251 transceiver, for full CAN2.0B functionality. Each port is independently isolated from the system to eliminate sensitivity to noise and ground shifts in the network. Jumper options include slew rate control, transceiver power source (on-board or loop power), address, and interrupt settings. Both memory and I/O addressing are supported. For ruggedized applications, 0O jumper-bypass resistors can be installed in any configuration.

PC/104 DC/DC Power Supplies

Diamond offers a wide selection of rugged, wide-temperature, PC/104-sized DC/DC power supplies offering options of up to 218W output power, multiple output voltages, and fixed and variable voltage inputs.

Mass Storage Accessories

Diamond's mass storage accessory products are designed to work with our line of small form factor single board comptuers. Available mass storage products include SATA disk-on-modules, mSATA flashdisks, USB flashdisks, and IDE flashdisks.
