ADDI-DATA offers a wide range of PCI boards especially designed for the reliable use in harsh industrial environments. The measurement boards are equipped with many protective features such as short-circuits and overvoltage protection, optical isolation, input and output filters, etc.

Drivers

Drivers, e.g. for Windows 7 (32-Bit) / Vista (32-Bit) / XP (32-Bit) / 2000 / NT / 98, Linux and for the most common programming languages like LabVIEW, Visual Basic, Delphi or C++ are supplied free of charge.

Product compatibility

The migration from PCI bus to PCI Express bus has already been carried out in the consumer market. However, the industry is lagging behind in making this change because change is often connected with financial outlay. Some of our customers are therefore thankful to still be able to purchase ISA boards from us. That is our promise in terms of long-term availability. This promise is also valid for PCI boards. That is why you should talk to us before considering a changeover. Together, we will look at which alternative is best for you.

The PCI board with 16 digital inputs APCI-1016 has 16 digital inputs, 24 V. The board is connector- and software-compatible to the PCI Express version APCIe-1016. It is especially suited for industrial I/O control, signal switching, as interface to electromechanical relays, for automated test devices, for ON/OFF monitoring of motors, lights etc. and as interface to machines.

APCI-1032

The PCI board with 32 digital inputs APCI-1032 has 32 digital inputs, 24 V. It is available as 24 V or as 5 V version (APCI-1032-5). The board is connector- and software-compatible to the PCI Express version APCIe-1032. It is especially suited for industrial I/O control, signal switching, as interface to electromechanical relays, for automated test devices, for ON/OFF monitoring of motors, lights etc. and as interface to machines.

APCI-1500

The PCI 32 digital I/O board APCI-1500 is available as 24 V and as 12 V version. It has 16 digital inputs, including 14 interruptible inputs. The 32 outputs have an output current of 500 mA per channel and are set to “0” at power-on. A watchdog can set the outputs to “0”, they are also set to 0 in case that the external supply voltage drops below 5 V. The outputs are protected against overtemperature and overvoltage. The board is optically isolated up to 1000 V. It is especially suited for applications like I/O control, ON/OFF monitoring of engines, lights etc. in the harsh industrial environment.

The PCI TTL I/O boards APCI-1648 and APCI-1696 have 48 or 96 digital TTL I/O. 8 lines (1 port) can be configured as inputs or outputs. The programming is made through I/O read-/write commands. The boards are suitable for applications in measurement, control, regulation and laboratory technology.

APCI-2200

The PCI relay board APCI-2200 has 8/16 electromechanical relays with change-over contacts and 8 digital inputs, 24 V. The board is available in 2 versions: APCI-2200 (5 V) and APCI-2200-8-8_3,3V (3.3 V). Each relay can be configured as opening contact, closing contact or change-over contact. The maximum switching voltage is 60 VDC/48 VAC, the maximum switching current is 1 A. Up to 16 inputs are available, the inputs are optically isolated up to 1000 V. The board is meant for the harsh industrial environment and thus comes with numerous protective circuits.

The PCI analog I/O boards APCI-3110 and APCI-3116 have 16/8 SE or 8/4 differential inputs with a 16-bit resolution and a throughput rate of 200 kHz. It is also available with a 12-bit resolution (APCI-3110). The 4 analog outputs have a resolution of 12-bit. Furthermore, the board has 8 digital I/O, 24 V, and 24 TTL I/O. Temperature PCI Board

APCI-3200

The PCI temperature measurement board APCI-3200 has 16/8/4 channels for thermocouples or 8 inputs for resistance temperature detectors (RTD). Each channel can be configured either to thermo­couples, RTD or as an analog voltage input channel. Furthermore, the board has 8 independent current sources for resistance temperature detectors (RTD) and one current source for the cold junction compensation.

Vibration PCI Board

APCI-3600

The PCI noise and vibration measurement board APCI-3600 has been especially developed for acoustic processes in test applications in the industrial environment. It has 8 SE/diff. (+/-) inputs, 24-bit, 8 current sources for the connection of ICPTM-sensors, 8 digital inputs and 8 digital outputs, 24 V. 4 chronometer inputs (RS485) allow the parallel revolution counting. The 8 analog SE/diff. (+/-) inputs have 1 A/D converter per channel and allow a simultaneous sampling with a frequency between 2 kHz and 200 kHz. An antialiasing filter to avoid sampling errors is available. Furthermore, the board is equipped with a software programmable gain from 1 to 10 as well as an input coupling for AC, DC, GND.

APCI-3701

The PCI length measurement board APCI-3701 is designed for the acquisition of 16/8 inductive transducers (Half-Bridge, LVDT, Knäbel) with a 16-bit resolution. Furthermore, it has 16 digital inputs and outputs, optically isolated. The software ConfigTools included in delivery has a database for connecting/calibrating a large range of industry-standard transducers, such as Solartron, Tesa, Marposs, Schlumberger, Peter & Hirt, Mahr, RDP, Schaevitz, SMPR contrôle etc. The board is suited for dynamic measurement, e.g. for measuring moving parts or applications with time-critical measurement cycles – especially in test equipment with several sensors.

The PCI length measurement board APCI-3702 is designed for the simultaneous acquisition of 5 half-bridge or LVDT transducers with a 16-bit resolution. Furthermore, it has 16 digital inputs and outputs, optically isolated. It is suited for dynamic measurement, e.g. for measuring moving parts or applications with time-critical measurement cycles – especially in test equipment with several sensors.

Serial PCI Board

APCI-7xxx-3

The PCI serial interfaces APCI-7xxx-3 are available as 1-port, 2-port, 4-port and 8-port version. They are configured by inserting MX modules s in the following modes: RS232, RS422, RS485 (with or without optical isolation) and 20 mA current loop (with optical isolation), which the board identifies automatically. The modes can be freely combined. The interface is supported through a 128-byte FIFO buffer for sending and receiving data and guarantees reliable operation at high transfer rates.

Motion Control PCI Board

APCI-8008

The PCI motion control board APCI-8008 is suited for the control of up to 8 servo- or stepper motor axes. The intelligent board is based on a RISC processor and can process up to 4 stand-alone user programs. It has 2 Ethernet interfaces, one of them can be used as EtherCAT interface. Each axis channel allows the connection of incremental-, SSI and EnDat encoders as well as end and reference switches. Through software functions, the following control tasks are possible: Linear, circular, helical, spline and CAD interpolation. The board is suited for applications such as optical component measurement, laser processing machines, tube welding machines, SMD component mounting machines, etc.

Real-time under Windows

Withh RTX you can create real-time applications for Windows. As RTX is meant for multi-core use, the user can run several tasks of his application simultaneously and assign them to the different processor cores. Thus it allows you to execute time-critical measurement, control and automation tasks in adeterministic way.
